PRV Engineering provides a wide range of precision engineering and custom fabrication services across various sectors. Since our specialities include busbars, deep hole drilling, waterjet cutting and structural steelwork among many others, we often look for talented individuals to join our dynamic, forward-thinking team.

CNC Millers

Time-served, skilled, CNC Milling machine setter, operators are required.

The successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Proven knowledge and experience of Mazatrol and Fanuc programming languages.
  • Experience of setting and operating 5 axis machining centres.
  • The ability to inspect machined components and ensure they are within tolerance.
  • Good knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling.
  • Proven skills withing a multi-axis machining environment.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and process improvement techniques.The ability to utilise relevant inspection equipment and techniques to ensure machined components are to drawing.
  • Hours of work 6pm – 6am Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs

CNC Operators

CNC operators are required to run a variety of CNC Milling and Turning machines.

The successful candidates will preferably have experience using Fanuc and/or Mazak programming language. They will be able to read engineering drawings and ensure that manufactured components are to drawing and of an acceptable standard.

The successful candidates will also;

  • Ensure maximum production is achieved.
  • Identify and communicate ways to improve productivity.
  • Understand the task at hand and the required result by reading engineering drawings etc.
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
  • Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce output according to specification.
  • Operate the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
  • Inspect and measure finished product and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
  • Hours of work 6pm – 6am Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs

Water cutting Operative

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Set up and operate 2 waterjet cutting machines.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials.
  • Install and align machine accessories, such as cutting tips and fixtures.
  • Manipulate machine controls to regulate cutting speed and fluid flow.
  • Cut and trim parts.
  • Monitor the cutting process.
  • Perform routine maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Hours of work 6pm-6am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
